This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used with Disporty's website and organisation pages. Cookies are small values a website stores in your browser and receives with relevant requests. Local or session storage can hold information in your browser without sending it automatically with every request. Our Privacy Policy explains broader personal-information processing.
Cookies and stored identifiers can be personal information, including when they identify a session rather than contain your name. First-party cookies relate to the site you visit; third-party services may use their own technologies when their features are loaded.
Disporty uses browser cookies for authentication, sessions and related security or verification flows. These support signing in, recognising an authenticated request and returning you from supported account-linking or login flows. Blocking them can prevent login, linking and protected features from working. Necessary technologies are distinct from optional advertising or analytics.
Features may use browser storage to remember preferences or consent choices. Disporty's advertising components check a cookie called "yourAppCookieConsent" for an accepted-cookie value. That check is not itself a complete inventory of cookies used by the website or loaded third-party services.
Where analytics, advertising or embedded third-party media are enabled, providers may receive device, browser, page or interaction information and set their own cookies. These technologies must be subject to consent where applicable law requires it. The cookies present depend on the pages, features and third-party content you actually use; not every service is loaded on every page.
Logging in, visiting a page or posting in Discord is not, by itself, consent to optional tracking. Discord message processing and AI support requests are described in the Privacy Policy and are not controlled simply by deleting a website advertising cookie.
Session cookies generally last for a browser session; persistent cookies have their own expiry settings. Browser session restoration can retain session data. Local storage can remain until cleared by the application or browser. Expiry varies by feature and provider; a cookie's lifetime is not the retention period for associated server-side, payment, support or provider records.
Connected authentication, payment, advertising and media providers have separate notices and controls. Consult their policies when using their services. Information about Disporty's providers and the technologies relevant to your use can be requested at privacy@disporty.com.
Your browser settings allow you to inspect, block and delete cookies and site storage, including third-party cookies. Settings are usually specific to a browser, device and site. Deleting cookies may sign you out or remove preferences; blocking necessary cookies may prevent services from working. Deleting stored consent choices can also remove the record of your previous choice.
Use any consent controls offered for the relevant service and the third-party provider's controls where available. Browser controls do not delete an account or remove information already held by Disporty or its providers. For questions about optional tracking or withdrawing consent, contact privacy@disporty.com.
We update this policy as technologies and services change. The date above identifies this revision. Send cookie or privacy questions to privacy@disporty.com. Our Terms of Service cover platform use.
